Please join us as we discuss Restorative Justice and its place within our criminal justice system. There will be a panel of speakers with different perspectives on the benefits of restorative justice. The Hon. Judge Jay Blitzman is a long-time judge of the juvenile court and has used Restorative Justice on the bench. Kim Yeasir is the founder and CEO of Thrive, an organization whose mission is to empower returning citizens and revolutionize the role community members play in their lives upon reentry. Lillie Williams is a community organizer and member of EPOCA, Ex-prisoners and Prisoners Organizing for Community Advancement, in Worcester. As a board member, she used restorative justice to mediate disputes.

We will also be honoring retired Judge Leslie Harris for his various contributions, including his work in this field.
